Our spine serves two main functions:

  • it resists the effects of gravity on the rest of our skeletal structure (this includes our joints)
  • it protects our nervous system

If our spine is not maintained properly, we lose both the proper function of our joints, and the protection of our nervous system. Over time, disease sets in.

True, you will "feel" better after the symptoms are relieved. But remember that a cancer takes YEARS to develop into something big enough that you can detect, and all the while it is growing you may feel absolutely NO effects from it.

A carburetor, when it's not mechanically set properly, will not function well, no matter how many cans of carburetor cleaner or gas treatment you pour into your car. You must physically adjust that carburetor to get the system to function properly again.

Our body functions much the same way. A chemical or drug cannot fix any symptom whose cause is due to faulty spinal architecture. It must be physically addressed.

Doctor Hubbs' Patient Satisfaction

A 1989 survey found that patients receiving care from health maintenance organizations (HMOs) in the state of Washington were three times as likely to report satisfaction with chiropractic care than they were from other health-care providers.

Early in the 1990s, a similar study conducted by the Gallup Organization found that 90% of chiropractic patients felt their care was effective. Over 80% were satisfied with their care, and close to 75% felt that their expectations had been met.
