does Dr Hubbs' care differ from any other chiropractic practitioner?
DR Hubbs specializes in a technique called Chiropractic Biophysics.
This technique takes a structural approach to health care by restoring
the normal spinal curves and contours for a patient. This relieves
spinal stress, relieves stress to the nervous system, and allows
full expression of your body's ability to function.

What makes Palmer College so special?
Palmer College of Chiropractic is located in Davenport, Iowa. It
was started by the founder of chiropractic health care. It is the
very first school to teach chiropractic. Palmer offers one of the
widest ranging curricula of any chiropractic school in the world.
Do you work with children?
Children need chiropractics as much as adults do. It is far easier
to guide a growing child's spine, and to help it to develop normally,
than to have to fix years of repeated trauma, poor posture and faulty
adaptation in an adult.
Does chiropractic care hurt?
Most of the time, treatment is gentle, and relaxing. However, if
you have an inflamed joint, or other consequences of a back sprain,
any treatment or movement may be a little uncomfortable at first.
How often should I see a chiropractor in order
to maintain good spinal health?
This depends on whether you have a structurally corrected spine.
If not, then some level of repeat care may be necessary to keep
your spine supple, mobile and at optimum function. In general, researchers
in the profession have suggested once a month as a reasonable goal
for overall spinal health maintenance. In any case, Dr. Hubbs can
help you design your own personal program to fit your spine's needs.
Can chiropractic care help me?
If your specific problem is due either in part, or entirely by
nerve pressure or irritation from spinal curvature, or misalignment,
then ONLY chiropractic care can help you. Chiropractic care has
helped many kinds of headaches, chronic pain, Asthma, digestive
problems; even PMS has been helped with chiropractic care.
In short, any condition in which nerve function can be a contributing
factor may be helped by chiropractic care. The only way to know
for sure is to try.
What are your working hours?
We are open Monday through Thursday, 8am - 12:30pm and 2:30pm -
5pm.
Do you offer any other services besides chiropractic
care?
In our office, we pay attention to your whole health needs. Our
services include Chiropractic Adjustment, Traction, Rehabilitative
exercise, physical therapies, nutritional counseling and herbal
and vitamin supplementation where appropriate. In addition, referral
is possible to other practitioners for services like massage therapy
or acupuncture. We have lists of some of the best practitioners
in the area.
